Hunt for thieves who stole and set fire to a Bentley

Thieves have stolen a luxury Bentley Continental convertible in Paisley before dumping and setting fire to it in Renfrew.

The navy blue car disappeared from Braehead Road between 4.40pm and 8.40pm on Sunday 6th November and was found burnt out at the junction of Neil Street with Meadowside Street at around 9pm the same evening.

Detective Constable Gary Bruce, of Paisley CID, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this theft and wilful fireraising.

“I would urge any witnesses to the fire, or anyone who seen this vehicle in the local area on Sunday, 6 November, to contact us as they may have information that will assist our investigation.

“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3610 of 6 November.
