Donations are wanted for a Beauty Bank, which has been set up to support women in need.
Domestic abuse survivor Amina Hart, who owns Chic Clinique beauty clinic in Milngavie, is offering treatments and collecting donations to help others who are going through the same thing she once went through.
She's asking for people to donate essential toiletries such as toothpaste, a toothbrush, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner - however also need bath salts, perfume, makeup and other beauty luxuries.
Amina is also offering treatments through Women's Aid, to those living in refuge.
She said: "I had minor strokes throughout my time as well just with pressure and everything and I think had I had those treatments, if it was a massage once a week to eradicate the pain which sometimes comes from being mentally drained and harassed and all the rest of it - I think it's really necessary to have that out there."
Talking from her experience, she says having beauty products back in your life can give you confidence again.
"I had felt so lost in confidence as well, I didn't want to be seen anymore but I wanted to speak up - with regards to the Beauty Bank if I had something like that I think that would have helped a lot I think I wouldn't have had to have so much medication.
"You can flee and not have your makeup bag - that can be awful sometimes if you've been used to wearing makeup for such a long time and you're not going to buy it because a makeup kit could cost you £200."
Donations should be unused for hygiene reasons and can be donated to Chic Clinique on Stewart Street in Milngavie.
