Glasgow beauty queen to walk 50 miles in a day for Beatson Cancer Charity
Chloe Jebb is walking 100,000 steps for charity before Miss Great Britain in Glasgow
A competitor for this year's Miss Great Britain in Glasgow is walking 50 miles in one day for the Beatson Cancer Charity.
Chloe Jebb from Glasgow is fundraising after the charity supported her family through the loss of her grandfather.
The pageant queen will be taking 100,000 steps to raise money on May 4 2024.
It's just one of many charity events she has planned in preparation for the event.
She said: "I am walking 50 miles in one day, 100,000 steps which is definitely going to be a challenge but I'm looking forward to it.
"I've just gone right in with the 100k because I walk a lot every day anyway.
"I think it's going to take me around 15 hours so it will be challenging physically and mentally - but I know that I can do it and it's for a great cause.
"The Beatson Cancer Charity has done a lot for my family over the years, particularly a couple of years ago with my grandad's passing.
"They don't get enough praise for what they do - they've been so so supportive."
