Police presence stood down at 'disturbed farm land' in Bearsden

Police received the report on Saturday and have remained at the scene until this afternoon.

Officers have confirmed the police cordon and presence has been stood down from the farm land on Duntocher Road in Bearsden.

It's after officers were called there on Saturday to reports of 'disturbed piece of farm land' - they've remained present at the scene since.

However police are now leaving the area after establishing no evidence of any criminality.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers have concluded enquiries into a disturbed piece of farm land in the Duntocher Road area of Bearsden which was reported to police on Saturday 14, August, 2021.

"No evidence of any criminality has been established in relation to this."
