Batgirl gears up to film in Glasgow city centre

Scenes for the HBO Max film will be filmed on St. Vincent Street from tomorrow.

Crews have taken to the city centre of Glasgow to turn the streets into a set for the upcoming American film, Batgirl.

They have been spotted transforming the space around the Tron Theatre.

The buildings on Parnie Street are also being decorated as American shops.

External filming will start later this week including at the Trongate, Glasgow Cross, and the Saltmarket.

Tomorrow night temporary lights will be in place on West Nile Street and St. Vincent Street between 6.30pm and 10.30pm for filming.

Filming will also take place between midnight and 6am on Thursday and Friday morning at Glasgow Cross.

High Street and Saltmarket will be closed between Bell Street and Clyde Street.

Trongate between Candleriggs and Watson St. London Road will be closed between James Morrison Street and Candleriggs.
