Man left in hospital after attack outside nightclub

A 27-year-old was attacked in Balloch in the early hours of Saturday

Detectives are investigating an attack on a man outside a nightclub in Balloch in the early hours of the morning which left him needing hospital treatment.

The incident took place at around 3.30am on Saturday, 3 February, 2024, outside a venue on Balloch Road.

A 27-year-old man sustained an injury and was taken to Vale of Leven District Hospital in Alexandria for treatment.

Dash-cam footage appeal

Detective Constable Iain Allison, of Clydebank CID said: “The victim has been left injured by this incident and we are appealing for information to be able to establish exactly what happened.

“The area would have been relatively busy with traffic and people leaving nearby premises at the time. If anyone has witnessed the incident or captured anything on dash-cam footage or CCTV, please contact police.”
