Ayrshire kids help missing 95-year-old with dementia home
Police are thanking Josh Bennett and Lacey Robinson after helping to get the elderly man home at the weekend
Two children who helped a missing 95-year-old man with dementia return home safely are being thanked by Ayrshire police.
Josh Bennett and Lacey Robinson, both aged seven, found the lost pensioner and alerted family who contacted police.
Officers then returned the man safely to his home and paid a visit to the kids after to thank them for their efforts.
Sergeant Douglas Clark said: “"We are very proud of what Josh and Lacey have done.
"I know their family are also proud, as will be the pupils and staff of Beith Primary School. Well done, Josh and Lacey!"
