Man charged in connection with attempted theft and motorbike crash

Police are investigating after an attempted theft and motorcycle crash near Mugdock Park.
Officers say they received reports of an attempted farm in Milton of Campsie.
Two men reportedly made off on a motorbike - which was then found crashed near Mugdock Park.
A 27 year old man as been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.15am on Thursday, 10 November, 2023, police received a report of an attempted theft at a farm in Strathblane Road, Milton of Campsie.
“Two men made off from the scene on a motorcycle, which was found crashed on Milngavie Road, near to the entrance of Mugdock Park, around 5.35am.
“One man was traced nearby and taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
