Attempted murder in Priesthill leaves man with life-threatening injuries

The man was found at around 10.15pm last night

A 50-year-old man is fighting for his life after a serious assault in Glasgow last night.

He was found in the Priesthill area at around quarter past 10 and was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

A 39-year-old was also discovered with serious injuries.

Detective Sergeant Nicol McPherson, Police Scotland, said: “From our enquiries so far, we believe there was a disturbance involving a number of people, which resulted in both men being seriously injured."

The suspect for the attack is described as wearing a black hooded tracksuit top and bottoms with white trainers.
