Police appeal after attempted murder in Maryhill
A man sustained life-threatening injuries during the early hours of the morning

Police are appealing for information following the attempted murder of a man in Maryhill earlier today.
At 5:45 AM, police were called to Guthrie Street after a 40-year-old man was seriously injured.
He was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with life-threatening injuries.
His condition is now reportedly stable.
Detectives are looking for two men in connection with the attack.

Detective Sergeant Stephen Palmer, Maryhill CID, said: “A man has sustained serious injuries as a result of this attack and we are appealing for information to help trace those responsible.
“From our enquiries so far, we are looking for two male suspects.
"They are both white, one is of a stocky build and dressed all in black, the other is of a slim build and wearing a white jacket with possibly a ‘Just Eat’ logo and a yellow/mustard skip cap.
“I would ask if you recognise these men from the descriptions or were in the Maryhill area around the time of the incident and saw anyone acting suspicious, that you come forward and speak to police.
“Any motorists who have dash-cam footage that could assist with our enquiries, please get in touch.”
