A man will stand trial accused of assaulting two people and a police officer at a Madness gig.

David Greenwood, 45, allegedly committed the attacks at Glasgow's Hydro arena on December 1st, 2023.

Court papers state Greenwood, of Irvine, North Ayrshire, kicked an Andrew McDermit to his leg.

It is then claimed that Greenwood then attempted to apply bodily pressure to a Heather McDermott's knee.

A third charge says Greenwood assaulted police constable Dannielle Wheeler by elbowing her head.

Greenwood denied the offence at a hearing today/yesterday at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

A trial has been fixed for November this year by Sheriff Patricia Pryce.
