Police have made a major drugs and cash seizure in Glasgow.

They raided a property in the west end of the city last night after spotting a man with drugs on Lawrence Street, near Byres Road.

Herbal cannabis and ketamine with an estimated value of £155,000 were recovered from a property in Glasgow. Along with over £45,000 in cash was recovered.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 25 August, 2025.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective Inspector Alan Ferguson said: “Police Scotland is committed to tackling violence and drug dealing in our communities.

“We cannot do this alone, and the public’s help is absolutely vital when it comes to ridding our communities of these illegal activities.
