Man arrested after sexual assault near Glasgow's Ashton Lane

A man has been arrested after a teenager was sexually assaulted near Ashton Lane, in the west end of Glasgow.

Police received a report of an incident involving an 18-year-old woman on Saturday April 16.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of the sexual assault of an 18-year-old woman which occurred on Saturday, 16 April, 2022, near to Ashton Lane, Glasgow.

“A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and release pending further enquiries. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
