Arrest After Body Found In Renfrewshire House

A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Linwood.

A Police Scotland spokesman said officers were called to a house in the Renfrewshire town's Cowal Drive at about 2.30pm yesterday after receiving a report that a 33-year-old woman had died.

The spokesman added that a 41-year-old man has been arrested and is being detained in police custody in connection with the death.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
