Armed police swarm Summerston to respond to ongoing incident
A number of roads remain closed in the area.
Armed police remain in the Summerston area of Glasgow this afternoon as they respond to an ongoing incident.
A number of roads are taped off after the alarm was raised around 10am this morning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.50am on Monday, 15 December, 2025, officers attended an address on Drumlaken Street in Glasgow in connection with an ongoing investigation.
“Police, including firearms officers, remain at the scene.
“A number of nearby properties have been evacuated as a precaution.
“There are also road closures in place on Caldercuilt Road, between Arrochar Street and Rothes Drive, and Arrochar Street at Drumlaken Street.”
