Concern grows for Ardrossan man missing since Boxing Day

Concern is growing for a 51-year old man missing from Ardrossan since Boxing Day.
Anthony Lowey was last seen by a family member on the 26th when he was dropped off at his home in the town's Hunter Avenue at 3pm.
He is described as around 5ft. 8 inches in height, with short brown hair and a slim build.
He has a goatee beard and tattoos on his lower arms which say 'Mum and Dad' and 'Marianne'.
When last seen he was wearing a navy blue fleece with a cream coloured jacket over the top, although he may have changed clothes by now.
Anthony was reported missing on Friday 29 December 2017 and enquiries have established he was spotted at 3:30pm in Glasgow Road at the junction of Parkhouse Road in Ardrossan on Thursday 28 December 2017.
He is well known in the community, he has recently been dealing with some personal issues and concern is growing for his well-being.
His family just want to know he is safe and well.
Sergeant Allison McIntyre said: 'We are checking CCTV footage from in and around the area and are appealing to anyone who may have seen Anthony or who knows anything about his whereabouts to contact us. Anthony keeps in contact with his family and the fact that he hasn’t been in touch for a few days is concerning. They are understandably worried and just want him home safe and well. Anyone with information is asked to call officers at Irvine Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 0936 of 29 December 2017.
