Birds, which usually live in the Arctic, have been found in Falkirk.

They've been discovered in Callendar Park.

The little Auks, look like baby penguins, and are thought to have been blown in by Storm Frank.

SSPCA centre manager Colin Seddon said, "We have just over 100 little auks in our care at the moment which have been caught out by the recent storms."

"Little auks breed in the high arctic areas such as Greenland and Iceland, so it is unusual to see them up close."

"The little auks we have rescued were found weak and thin and would have had great difficulty taking off once grounded."

"If anyone comes across one of these birds they should call our Animal Helpline on 03000 999 999."
