Appeal after woman assaulted and robbed in Larkhall

It happened on Craigbank Road near to the junction with Ness Gardens around 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

Officers are investigating after a 32-year-old woman was assaulted and had her phone stolen in Larkhall yesterday.

It happened around 3pm on Craigbank Road, near to the junction with Ness Gardens.

The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Detective Constable Graeme Easton said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have seen or heard any disturbance in the area around that time to get in touch.

“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage from the area.

“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 1984 of 17 October, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
