There is an appeal for witnesses after a woman was assaulted and robbed in the City Centre in earlier this year.

There is an appeal for witnesses after a woman was assaulted and robbed in the City Centre in earlier this year.

The 35 year-old was attacked around midnight on 27th May 2017 in Robertson Lane - she was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Officers believe that the man shown in the images may have information that can assist them with their enquiries and would ask any members of the public who recognise him to contact them urgently.

He is described as white, around 5ft 4 inches in height, of medium build, with short dark hair which is receding at the front. He was wearing a grey t-shirt with writing on the front, jeans and dark coloured trainers.
