Appeal after ticket inspector racially abused

There is an appeal for witnesses after a ticket inspector was racially abused on a train between Motherwell and Dalmuir on Saturday.

The man was on the 4.15pm service and became aggressive when the worker asked to see his ticket.

He is described as being a teenager, around 5 ft. 6 and was wearing a black top with a navy backpack.
