Police fear for safety of missing Blantyre woman

Family of Lyndsay McLauchlan are concerned

Police are appealing for information to help trace a woman reported missing from the Blantyre area.

Lyndsay McLauchlan (45) was last seen in the Lochinver Crescent area around 6.50pm on Friday, 17 September.

She is described as being white, around 5ft 2, with short fair/blonde hair and speaks with a local accent. She is believed to be wearing a black jacket with a hood, a red jumper, blue jeans and black trainers.

Inspector Ross Aitken said: “Along with Lyndsay’s family, we are growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing as time passes.

“We’re asking for anyone with information on her whereabouts, or any possible sightings, to please call police on 101, quoting incident 3393 of 18 September.”
