Police appeal following Milngavie crash

Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a crash involving a pedestrian in Milngavie.

Around 4.25pm on Wednesday, 10 April, 2024, emergency services attended Woodburn Way following the crash involving a 65-year-old woman and a white Ford Transit van.

The woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment where her condition is described as stable. The driver of the van was not injured.

Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who may have dash-cam footage, and has not yet spoken to or provided this information to officers, to contact us.

“The road was busy at the time and I would also appeal to any other drivers who were on the road around the time and who haven’t yet spoken to officers to get in touch.”
