Appeal after man attacked in busy Glasgow pub

A man has been left with a serious facial injury after being attacked in a bar in Glasgow City Centre on Saturday.

A man has been left with a serious facial injury after being attacked in a bar in Glasgow City Centre on Saturday.

The 32-year-old was in St Vincent’s Boston Irish Bar when he got into an argument with another man.

The suspect was thrown out by security staff and left with a group others.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and there's a description on the local news section of our website.

The victim was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary and released after treatment.

The suspect is described as between 5ft8 and 5ft 10, medium to stocky build, and with closely shaved hair. He was wearing a shirt and tie.

Detective Constable Tara Hogan from Stewart Street CID said: “The bar would have been busy with other patrons at the time of the attack and I would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened.
