Officers investigating a sexual assault on board a train in Glasgow back in May are appealing for information.

At approximately 10.30pm on 20 May, two women were on board a train travelling between Charing Cross and Queen Street stations. A man then approached the two woman, introducing himself as “Liam”.

He began speaking with the women, despite their reluctance. At Queen Street station, the women then went to leave the train when they were touched inappropriately by the man. The man carried on his journey to High Street station.

He is described as a white man, approximately 25-years-old with short dark brown hair, he had two scars to the left hand side of his head and he was wearing a grey jumper and blue jeans.

This man’s behaviour was reported by witnesses on the train, however the victims have not yet made contact. Therefore, officers are today appealing for them to get in touch.
