Appeal for missing Lanark youngsters

Vanessa Cinova and William Hill have been missing from the Sandilands area since Saturday.

Police Scotland is appealing for any information as to the whereabouts of Vanessa Cinova, 15, and William Hill, 12, who are missing from Lanark.

They were last seen at their home address in the Sandilands area around 9pm on Sunday 22 July 2018.

Both have gone missing before and they are suspected to be in the company of one another.

Vanessa is 5ft2, medium build, with sallow skin and long dark brown hair. She was wearing white Adidas joggers, silver velvet zipper top, gold jacket, and red Nike trainers.

William is 5ft2, slim build, fair skin with freckles and short sandy coloured hair. He was wearing a grey tracksuit and black trainers.

Constable Suzanne Adamson from Lanark Police Station said: “As time goes on we are growing increasingly concerned for the wellbeing of Vanessa and William and it is vital that we trace them as soon as possible.

“Vanessa is known to frequent the Govanhillarea of Glasgow and William has been known to spend time in the Ayr and Lanark areas.

“I would appeal for anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact Lanark Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 4331 of Sunday 22 July 2018.
