An appeal has been launched for dash-cam footage after a car was found on fire in Paisley
Around 11.15 pm on Wednesday 20th February 2019 emergency services were called to Seedhill Road following reports of a Dacia Duster vehicle a blaze. The fire was extinguished and nobody was injured.
Officers have been carrying out door to door enquiries and checking CCTV nearby in efforts to establish exactly how this incident occurred.
Detective Sergeant Euan McMillan, Paisley Police Office, said: “We are currently treating this incident as wilful and are appealing to anyone who may have any information to come forward.
“Did you notice anyone hanging around in the Seedhill Road area of Paisley last night or hear or see anything that you now may believe could be related to this incident. No matter how insignificant it may have seemed at the time, it could be vital in our enquiries.
“We would also ask anyone who was driving in this area last night who has dash-cam footage to get in touch, you could have information that could help us.”
