There's an appeal for witnesses following a fatal crash involving a black Audi A4 and a black Honda motorcycle in Glasgow.

The incident happened around 3pm at the Ballieston Interchange yesterday.

A 45-year-old man, the driver of the motorbike, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sergeant Roy McCarney, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family and friends of the motorcyclist who died at this difficult time.

“We are carrying out extensive investigations into the incident and we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened who has not already spoken to officers.

“In particular we would like to speak to anyone who may have dash-cam footage that could help with our enquiries to get in touch.

"Anyone who can help our investigation is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2666 of Saturday, 30 May, 2020.”
