The incident, which is being investigated as an attempted murder, happened around 3.20pm on Sunday, 27 February on Dormiston Road.
A 38-year-old man suffered serious injuries in the incident. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital before being transferred to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where his condition is described as stable.
A 40-year-old man was also injured in the incident but has not required medical attention.
Detective Sergeant Frank Donaghy of Lanarkshire CID said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to come forward.
“We would be keen to speak to anyone who was in the area or who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage of the incident.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 2283 of 27 February, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
