Police are appealing for information after a grey Nissan Juke was set on fire in Bonhill in West Dunbartonshire last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of a disturbance and a fire on Elmbank Drive at around 10:35pm.
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no-one was injured.
The suspects are described as being male and in their early 20s.
Two of them were wearing all dark clothing and one of them was wearing a dark top and light-coloured jogging bottoms.
Detective Constable Adam McCreery, of Clydebank CID, said:
"We believe these incidents are linked and our enquiries into both are ongoing.
"Anyone who was in the area around the time of the incidents and witnessed what happened or saw something suspicious to get in touch.
"I would also ask anyone with private CCTV in the area or who was driving in the area and has dash-cam footage that could assist our investigation to contact officers.
"Anyone with information can call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 4057 of 24 September."
