There is an appeal for information after a Glasgow pub was broken into in the early hours on this morning.

The Golf Lounge shared a post on Facebook asking for information after vodka was stolen.

They could see the lighter side, taking to Facebook to make a plea for info.

They wrote: "Someone clearly couldn’t wait until 10am this morning to get a round in.

"At 5.33 am this morning this clown broke his way into The Golf Lounge. Unfortunately for him he didn’t even make it to the first hole on one of our simulators before being sent packing by our new AND VERY LOUD alarm system. The security company were there within minutes and alerted police 👮‍♂

"Our CCTV shows that he was in and out in less than 60 seconds and it’s looking like vodka is his tipple. His handicap remains unknown.

"Know this guy? It’s likely his ears will be ringing for quite some time.

"Special mention to our GM Stewart who was on the scene just behind the police. Stewart said “I’m happy that no one was hurt and the damage was limited, albeit I am annoyed that my beauty sleep was rudely interrupted."
