There is an appeal for information after two cars were stolen from the Williamwood area of Glasgow.

The vehicles were both taken sometime between 10pm on Tuesday 27th April and 7am on Wednesday 28th April.

A grey coloured Ford Kuga car - registration number DE 16 RZL - was stolen from Kilpatrick Avenue, and a white coloured Ford Fiesta ST car, registration number C 5 KAR was stolen from Vardar Avenue.

Constable Colin Donaldson from the Community Investigation Unit at Govan Police Office said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the Williamwood area between these times and has witnessed anything which might help in this enquiry to come forward.

"I would also ask anyone in the area who has private CCTV, or may have been in the area in a vehicle fitted with dash-cam to examine their devices to see if it contains anything which might help us.

"Callers can use the 101 number to call us and should quote the reference 0402 of 28 April. Anyone who wishes to pass on any information while remaining anonymous can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
