There is an appeal for information in Clydebank after a teenager was violently attacked.
Officers were called to Great Western Road on Thursday evening following reports of a Black Volkswagen Golf and a Skoda being driven erratically from the Knightswood area and crashing.
The occupants of the Skoda then attacked the Golf and the 17-year-old male driver, who was left with serious injuries.
Detective Sergeant Peter Jarvis said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this violent attack or the erratic driving which preceded it to please come forward.
“We are also keen to receive any potential dashcam footage from motorists who were in the area around the time in question and may have witnessed the crash.”
