Anti-Islam graffiti sprayed near community hub Glasgow

Police are looking into anti-Islam graffiti left on walls near a community centre in Glasgow.
Staff at Kingsway Community Connections discovered the abuse on Monday night before more appeared yesterday morning.
Slogans targeting migrants and ethnic minorities were splashed around Kingsway Court and Anniesland Road.
Managing Director Lainey Bedingfield told Clyde 1: "I thought about speaking out and wondered if it would result in us being targeted with more abuse.
"I don't want to fuel the flames and give oxygen to what was written but children walking to school shouldn't have to see hatred written on the walls of their own community.
"That is why it was really important to speak out."
The signs read “stop the boats now” and “say no to Islam” and have appeared on walls and bins around the building occupied by the community organisation.

Lainey added: “KCC’s staff are proud to serve a vibrant and multi-cultural community.
"This graffiti does not represent the values of our community, where people from all walks of life contribute positively every day.
"We are committed to challenging divisive behaviour and will continue to foster integration, respect and belonging.
"Acts like this will not deter us from our mission. Instead, they highlight the importance of our ongoing work to bring communities together and to stand against prejudice in all its forms."
