Anderston Station is open is normal after problems were reported with the roof earlier.

Scotrail staff arrived on the platform in Glasgow this morning to find a small section of the canopy had come away.

No trains were able to stop at the station for several hours while safety barriers were erected.

Clyde News understands trains are now calling at the station as normal in both directions.

A ScotRail Alliance spokesperson said: “We are investigating the cause, and are looking to repair the damage with a minimum of disruption to our customers.”
