Man charged in connection with Adam Anderson death in Greenock

A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Adam Anderson in Greenock.

Adam, 22, was found seriously injured off Ann Street around 3.50pm on Sunday, 2 January, but passed away in hospital shortly after.

The accused is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today.

Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Grainger said: “Our thoughts remain with Adam’s family and friends at this terrible time.
