97 year old woman dies after being knocked down in Ayr
A pensioner's died after being knocked down in Ayr on Sunday night.
A pensioner's died after being knocked down in Ayr on Sunday night.
The 97-year old woman was crossing Holmston Road just before 5 whilst walking her dog when she was hit by a BMW.
She was taken to Ayr hospital but died a short time later - it's understood her dog also died in the accident.
The road was closed for a time last night while investigations took place.
