Child airlifted to hospital after being hit by car in Ayrshire.

An 8 year old girl has been hit by a car outside Kilwinning Academy in Ayrshire.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Dalry Road at 3:30pm.
She's been airlifted to Glasgow Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police were called at around 3.30pm to Dalry Road near to Kilwinning Academy for a crash involving a car and a child.
