5 men arrested after attempted murders in Clydebank and Glasgow

Four were picked up in connection with an attack on Steven Daniel in Port Dundas in May

Police investigating two attempted murders in Glasgow and Clydebank earlier this year have arrested 5 men.

Four aged 35,30, 30 and 27 were detained in connection with an attack on Steven Daniel at a set of traffic lights at Port Dundas in May.

One of them was also held, along with a fifth man, in relation to an attack on a 32 year in Gilmour Avenue in Hardgate in April.

Police said a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
