4 year old girl found in Ayrshire burn
A four year old girl was rescued from an Ayrshire burn after her screams woke woman sleeping in a nearby house.
Ayrshire police received a report that a young child had fallen into a body of water in Dalmellington around 4:20 am on Tuesday morning.
The screams of the 4 year old girl woke a woman who was sleeping in a nearby house in Cathcartson.
She was taken to Ayr Hospital, her condition is unknown.
Police enquiries are continuing.
