36-year-old man suffers serious head injuries in Airdrie crash
A man's in a serious but stable condition after two cars crashed on Coatbridge Road in Airdrie.

A black Ford Fiesta and a greay Mitsubishi Lancer collided head-on on the road near Glenmavis at around 19:50 last night.
Both cars were extensively damaged and the occupants of both vehicles were taken to Monklands District Hospital.
A 36 year old man, who was a passenger in the Mitsubishi Lancer, suffered a serious head injury. Medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
The other occupants of the Mitsubishi car, a 33 year old woman, a 13 year old boy and a 2 year old boy were also taken to hospital. They were later released following treatment.
The occupants of the Ford Fiesta, two males aged 17 and two girls, aged 14 and 15 were taken to Monklands hospital for treatment. Their injuries were not considered serious.
The road was closed for several hours as crash scene investigators examined the site.
