A 28 year old man has been taken to hospital after a serious assault in Govan on Thursday night.

He was approached by two other men on Whitefield Road at around 10pm on September 25, and one of them hit him with a weapon.

Police are appealing to the public for help with enquiries.

Detective Sergeant Nicol McPherson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
