27 year old man dies after being stabbed during attack in Possil
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward
A 27-year old man has died following a stabbing in Possil on Saturday evening.
Police were called to reports of an assault on Saracen Street at around 5pm on May 18, before the man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
He later died of his injuries, and police are treating the death as suspicious.
Officers are searching for two men they believe were involved in the assault.
The first is described as white, in his 30s, wearing a light blue top and black shorts, while the second is wearing a white top with black shorts and trainers, also white in his 30s.
CCTV footage is being reviewed following the incident.

Detective Inspector Lesley-Ann McGee said: “It was a warm, sunny day yesterday and there were lots of people out enjoying the weather in Saracen, I am asking them to get in touch with us with any information that could assist us in establishing the motive for this attack.
“If you saw, heard or know anything please contact us. I’m also asking people with dash cam or doorbell recording equipment to check for any footage that could assist our investigation.
“A family is mourning the loss of a loved one and it’s imperative we are able to answer how their loved one died.”
Additional officers will be in the area over the coming days, and anyone with information is welcome to approach them.
