21st birthday for the Mobo Awards in Glasgow
The Hydro is to host the ceremony again later this year.
The Mobo Awards are to return to Glasgow for a fourth time.
The awards, which honour urban music talent, will celebrate their 21st anniversary at the SSE Hydro on Friday November 4 with "spectacular musical performances from a host of world-famous artists''.
Artists who have performed over the years include Rihanna, Grace Jones and Scotland-born Emeli Sande who won Best Female and Best Album in 2012.
London, Liverpool and Leeds have also hosted the event, which has been attended by more than 100,000 music fans since it was established by Kanya King in 1996.
Ms King said: "Mobo turning 21 is a huge achievement and a special time for us. Celebrating this in Glasgow, which has become our second home, is an absolute joy.
"The Mobo Awards has changed the music industry, and helped represent a diverse range of music that is now the heartbeat of youth culture.
"Having given a platform to so much emerging talent which has then gone on to achieve global and commercial success is something to be proud of.''
Line-up announcements are expected in the coming weeks with pre-sale tickets being released today.
