20-year-old wanted over Blackpool robbery linked to Glasgow

A man wanted in connection with a robbery in Blackpool is believed to be in Glasgow.

Police are hunting Edwin Reid after a 23-year-old man was robbed in The Strand in October 2015.

Reid was charged with robbery but failed to appear at Preston Crown Court in April 2016.

He was last seen in the Glasgow area.

Police have appealed for information about his whereabouts.

Detective Constable Jennie Speight, of Lancashire Constabulary, said: "Reid has been wanted for some time now in connection with a robbery in Blackpool.

"Our inquiries suggest he is likely to be in the Scotland area, possibly Glasgow.

"If you have seen him or know where he is, please call police immediately."

Reid is described as white, 5ft 5in, of slim build with brown hair.
