13 boys and men arrested after trouble at Kilmarnock v Rangers match

Thirteen males have been arrested and charged in connection with various incidents at a football match between Kilmarnock and Rangers earlier this year.

Rangers travelled to Rugby Park on the opening weekend of the Scottish Premiership season on Sunday August 4.

After several incidents on the day, 13 males aged between 14 and 29 have been arrested and charged.

A statement from Police Scotland added: "Reports have been sent to the procurator fiscal and officers are following positive lines of inquiry to trace a number of other individuals.

"Officers would like to thank the public for their assistance with this investigation so far."
