Bradley Walsh mocks 'easy' question on The Chase

Luckily the contestant got the answer correct! 🙈

After taking a short break for Bradley Walsh's other show Cash Trapped, ITV favourite The Chase returned to our TV screens yesterday (Thursday 2nd January), with fans welcoming its return.

But as a new set of contestants took on The Beast (AKA Chaser Mark Labbett), it seems host Bradley was less than impressed at one of the 'easy' questions served up.

The question put to female contestant Josie was, 'In the US, the student holiday known as ‘spring break’ typically takes place around what time of year?'

The options given were A.Easter, B. Thanksgiving and C.Christmas, to which Bradley said in shock, “What sort of question is that?”

Luckily for Josie, she also found the question easy, choosing the correct answer of Easter. 🙈

The Chase fans were left fuming at the end of 2019 when the popular tea-time show was replaced for Cash Trapped. The show, which aired for five weeks, was created by Bradley Walsh, with viewers loving the concept.

However, despite this, it seems many were VERY happy with The Chase's return last night. One user tweeted, 'After a long couple of months putting up with Cash Trapped being on, it's 2020, I'm flicking through the channels, and THE CHASE IS BACK!!!'. sic

Another wrote, 'The chase is back, life is good again', with a third adding, 'The most excited I've been in 2020 so far is finding out the chase is back on at 5pm tonight'. sic

Another excited fan added, 'The chase is back 😁😁😁'. sic
