Winner of The Masked Singer revealed as final celebrities unmasked
Series 6 has been a whirlwind!

After seven wacky weeks of masked celebrities competing in a singing contest, The Masked Singer series six has finally crowned its winner! Pufferfish took the trophy during tonight's final (Saturday 15th February) — before being unmasked as West End star, Samantha Barks - best known for playing Frozen's Elsa.
It's after Dressed Crab and Wolf were unmasked earlier this evening — turning out to be Gregory Porter and Wet Wet Wet's Marti Pellow.
Who was in the final?
After Bush, Bear, Snail, Kingfisher, Teeth, Tattoo, Toad in the Hole, Pegasus and Spag Bol were eliminated earlier in the series, the finalists were Dressed Crab, Wolf and Pufferfish.
WINNER: Pufferfish - Samantha Barks

THIRD PLACE: Wolf - Marti Pellow

After week 4 of The Masked Singer aired, fans took to the internet to express their belief Pufferfish was none other than 'Don't Call Me Up' singer, Mabel! The daughter of 80s/90s icon Neneh Cherry and niece of 'Save Tonight' singer 'Eagle-Eye Cherry, the clues "it runs in the family" make sense, along with other clues...such as lots of mentions of "Good Luck", one of Mabel's hit songs.

Clues: A spider on a hairbrush (maybe an I'm a Celebrity contestant). An American football. "It runs in the family". "I'll never get used to be so close to the sky."

Clues: Mentions of fashion. American football helmet. Gold coins. "I've scuttled all over the blue planet." "I hope I take to this like a crab to water...salt water...fresh water. I can style it out in either". An NDA is shown.

Wolf unmasked as Wet Wet Wet singer Marti Pellow
Sang: 'Let's Dance' by David Bowie, 'Copacabana (At the Copa)' by Barry Manilow, 'The Candy Man' by Sammy Davis Jr., 'Birds of a Feather' by Billie Eilish, 'Rebel Yell' by Billy Idol, 'Don't Dream It's Over' by Crowded House.
Clues: A book of fairy tales. "There's two sides to every story." A t-shirt with the word Wolfpack. A bishop's hat. Bowling skittles and a ball.

Bush
On Saturday 8th February, Eastenders legend, Natalie Cassidy, was revealed as Bush! While the judges managed to spot a few of the Eastenders clues, they believed it was Maisie Smith. She explained the nurse clues were due to her job as a nurse on the soap.
Sang: 'Wake Up Boo' by The Boo Radleys. 'Stay' by Justin Bieber and The Kid Laroi. 'Our House' by Madness. 'A Night to Remember' by Shalamar. 'Thank You For The Music' by ABBA. 'Stay' by Lisa Loeb.
Clues: 'Best Bush in Show' trophy. Judges wig and hammer. Binoculars and mentions of theatre. "This bush needs a little tidy before I get up on stage again." "I've been doing this since I was a little shrub."

Bear unmasked as 'Kickstarts' singer Example
A few of the judges had guessed Example during the clue packages for Bear, and it turned out they got it spot on. Bear was unmasked as the 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' singer in the sixth week.
Sang: 'You've Got to Pick a Pocket or Two' from Oliver. 'Miami' by Will Smith. 'Tender' by Blur. 'A Bar Song' by Shaboozey. 'She' by Elvis Costello.
Clues: Theatre references. Mentioned being "hungry for the competition" and asked "will I rise to the occasion?" Also showed a coffee percolator. In the rhyming clue, he said he was "at home amongst the flowers and soil". Chickens (which we now know was a link to his viral 'The Nando's Skank' freestyle with Ed Sheeran.)

Snail unmasked as Andrea Corr
During a double-elimination on Saturday 1st February's episode, Andrea Corr from popular 90s family band The Corrs, was unmasked as Snail. The singer, known for playing the violin in the band, revealed clues like "I was always RELATIVELY close to the industry that made me famous" hinted at her being in a band with her sisters and brother.
Sang: 'Espresso' by Sabrina Carpenter, 'Rule the World' by Take That, 'Hold On' by Wilson Phillips and 'Dance The Night' by Dua Lipa.
Clues: A baby in a basket. "I'm more worldly than you think." Mentions of scandals and secrets. "Would you be more gleeful if I revealed a little more about myself." "I was always RELATIVELY close to the industry that made me famous." Mentions of Grammy and Grandpa.

Kingfisher unmasked as Sir Grayson Perry
We found out on Saturday 1st February, Turner Prize-winning artist Sir Grayson Perry was under Kingfisher's mask. The mentions of an 'address book' turned out to be because Sir Grayson was often known to wear a dress. And the clues about GP, which sent the panel in completely the wrong direction assuming he was a doctor, was actually his initials!
Sang: 'The Rainbow Connection' from The Muppet Movie, 'Iris' by The Goo Goo Dolls, 'Luck Be a Lady' from Guys and Dolls and 'Somethin' Stupid' by Frank Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra.
Clues: Fishing references. An A to B road map. Dog treats. Feathers. A net. Lots of radios. "I've caught a prince or two in my time." With a label, with the name Harry written on.

Teeth unmasked as Mel Giedroyc
In week 4, Teeth was unmasked as comedian and former Bake Off host, Mel Giedroyc, best known as one half of 'Mel and Sue'. She vowed to tour in her costume for "many years to come".
Sang: '(Is This The Way To) Amarillo' by Tony Christie, 'Houdini' by Dua Lipa and 'Neighbours' theme tune.
Clues: "I'm a bit of a bit mouth. Going to try not to put my big foot in it." Mention of tackling. A joke shop. Binoculars and a map. "This time I'm going for gold." A beach. Mel's clue song was the 'Neighbours' theme tune, which was filmed in 'Melbourne'.

Tattoo unmasked as Carol Decker
On 18th January, Tattoo was unmasked as T'Pau's Carol Decker. The 80s pop group are best known for Number 1 hit 'China In Your Hand'. In an interview with This Morning following the unmasking, Carol said she "was a bit bemused" to be unmasked having felt "pretty confident" in her performances.

Clues: A Robin Hood hat. A rabbit with a horseshoe and a four-leafed clover. A fishnet stocking and a picture of Natalie Appleton. King and Queen crowns. A reservation for '5 weeks time'. Wellies. Green groceries x2. A 'mum' tattoo.

Toad in the Hole unmasked as Macy Gray
In a shocking turn of events, the week two unmasking almost didn't happen, after the celebrity hiding underneath walked off stage! The judges chose to save Bear after he found himself in the sing-off against Toad in the Hole. Having believed they'd already cracked the case, the judges voted Toad in the Hole to be unmasked. But the celeb was having none of it and walked away, before being coaxed back on to the stage, to reveal themselves as none other than 'I Try' singer, Macy Gray!
Sang: 'Valerie' by Amy Winehouse and 'Sunny' by Boney M.
Clues: Sold out sign. "You can often find me sizzling out in the back. Or in the front." "I'm always leaping from one thing to the next." "The amount I chatter on, it's a wonder anyone gets a word in edgeways." Mentions of BBQs and 'skippy'. Mentions of ogre and swamps (Macy has a song in Shrek the Third 'What I Gotta Do').

Pegasus unmasked as Dame Prue Leith
Great British Bake Off legend Dame Prue Leith was unmasked in the second episode of week one. She'd been hiding under the very elegant Pegasus costume. Prue revealed afterwards she'd had singing lessons, as it had been a long ambition of hers to be able to learn to sing.
Sang: 'Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin' ' by Gordon MacRae
Clues: In the first clue package, Pegasus appeared to be shown with a blue ribbon, suggesting the singer had won some sort of prize. Blue jeans were shown (Prue's well-known for working alongside Paul Hollywood on The Great British Bake Off - and he loves sporting a pair of jeans). The clue package also revealed the Masked Singer has 'many titles' (Prue is a Dame). A nun's habit was also on show.

Spag Bol unmasked as Kate Garraway
Broadcaster Kate Garraway was unmasked in the first week of The Masked Singer - having been hiding behind Spag Bol! She said "it was great fun", but she "was absolutely dreadful".
Sang: 'Look at Me' by Geri Halliwell
Clues: The time 6am was written on tennis balls relating to Kate's early starts working on GMTV with Britain's number one tennis player, Andrew Castle. There seemed to be a lot of Italian references, with viewers told "this dish is enjoyed all around the world".

Giant Joel unmasked as Sir Mo Farah
In an unexpected turn of events during the 2024 Christmas special, Giant Joel arrived on stage and left fans guessing over the festive period who could be behind the mask. We had to wait until the first episode of the new series to find out. And it turns out it was Olympic legend Sir Mo Farah!
Sang: 'Hello' by Lionel Richie
Clues: Jonathan worked out Giant Joel's sporty status by spotting two 2kg weights (symbolising Mo winning the Olympic double-double). He also spotted the BAFTA, which Mo picked up for his award-winning documentary, The Real Mo Farah.
