Last night's Love Island episode saw an explosive twist for the Love Islanders when the public had to decide which two islanders to send home. Whilst we knew it was happening, viewers were still torn over whether it would be Joe Garratt, Lucie Donlan, Elma Pazar or Anton Danyluk. This twist was exactly what the show needed!

Following the words of war with Maura Higgins and Elma, where Maura believed Elma was breaking ‘girl-code’ by talking to Tom Walker (who she is not coupled up with), Caroline Flack entered the villa which immediately got the islanders worried.

Who got dumped?

Asking them all to gather around the fire pit, Caroline revealed the interesting twist, much to the islanders' shock, and announced Joe and Elma had been voted off and were going home. This came at the worst possible timing for Joe as he had just redeemed himself, telling Lucie he was too harsh on her for saying she had to be friends with the girls and not as close with Tommy Fury. Viewers were also gutted Elma was sent packing as they had just begun to love her.

Has Lucie left the villa?

Well, the news massively upset Lucie, with the hit ITV2 show teasing how the surfer and model might quit the show and leave the villa in tonight’s (Wednesday) episode.
