Former glamour model Katie Price is no stranger to reality TV shows, having previously appeared on the likes of I'm A Celebrity and Celebrity Big Brother, but it sounds like she's got her sights set on ITV show Dancing On Ice, despite recently breaking both of her feet.

The mum-of-five was out in Turkey with friends and family last month, including her two children Junior and Princess Andre and her new boyfriend Carl Woods, when she broke both of her feet after jumping off a wall at a water park.

Despite recently undergoing six-hour surgery back in the UK, Katie has reportedly now vowed to recover from her horror injuries and be back on her feet for the 2022 series of Dancing On Ice.

An insider close to Katie told OK! Online, "Katie was earmarked for next year's Dancing On Ice but as rehearsals start next month, she's having to miss out and is completely gutted.

"Due to the severity of her injuries, she's not able to go anywhere near an ice rink. She's not even able to put pressure on her feet for at least six months. However, this opportunity has made her really determined to get back on her feet, she's so headstrong.

"Katie would love to do Strictly but she has two left feet, she does think she can skate though so is very eager to take part. She is determined to be back on her feet as soon as possible and is hoping to get on Dancing On Ice in 2022."

According to reports, Katie has been keen to sign up for the hit show for a number of years.

Over the weekend, Katie endured a six-hour operation at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, with Katie taking to her Instagram page later in the evening to update her fans and thank the amazing staff.

She wrote, 'Wanted to update everyone who has been sending all the beautiful messages to me ❤️ so I’ve had my 6 hour op Unfortunately more Procedures was needed when they entered my feet than thought , but I’m lucky I have the chance to one day get on my feet again 👍 Chelsea Westminster hospital nurses doctors have been amazing and the surgeons totally have my up most RESPECT and absolutely FANTASTIC very professional and have been very honest and straight with me to make me actually sink in my head the seriousness of my injuries MASSIVE THANKYOU and massive Thankyou to @carljwoods for constantly fitting me around his work and being by my side , loving knowing I’ve found the man that has surprisingly ticked every box I could only dream of a man to be like and knowing I’m spending the rest of my life with him ❤️❤️'.
