Comedian Jack Whitehall has been confirmed to host The BRIT Awards 2020 with MasterCard for third year running, so ahead of the big night at London's 02 Arena on Tuesday 18th February, we've decided to take a look back at his most savage moments from last year.

Amongst Little Mix winning another award, Hugh Jackman's incredible Greatest Showman opening, and P!nk's show-stopping finale, BRITs host Jack Whitehall didn't disappoint with his jokes throughout the show in 2019.

Check out Jack's most savage jokes from The BRIT Awards 2019 below:

The moment he made Shawn Mendes go BRIGHT red

After THAT Calvin Klein promotion from Canadian singer Shawn Mendes, Jack couldn't help but make him blush when he showed the saucy campaign to viewers.

He said to Shawn, "Word of warning, the security here at The 02 are quite hot on suspicious packages, so I'd keep it under wraps."

When he brought up THAT Jamaican accent again with Little Mix

Following last year's controversy surrounding Jesy Nelson's 'Jamaican accent', Jack sat down with the girls and said, "Jesy, you look nervous. I know last year I brought up the Jamaican accent. I'm under strict instructions not to mention it again."

He then proceeded to say, "We're just going to focus on music and ting."

When he ripped into Liverpool footballer Daniel Sturridge

When Liverpool and England footballer Daniel Sturridge, who is prone to an injury or two, got up on stage to present an award alongside Paloma Faith, Jack couldn't help himself but have a little dig.

After announcing Daniel to stage by calling him, "Premier League runner-up in waiting," Jack then added, "I don't want to alarm any Liverpool fans but it looks like Daniel Sturridge picked up a knock shaking George Ezra's hand."

The awkward moment he mocked FYRE Festival

As well as starting the BRITs 2019 with a promotional video mocking FYRE Festival, Jack continued throughout the show, later showing off the 'backstage area'... which looked strikingly similar to the failed FYRE show.

When he savagely mocked Prince Phillip's recent crash

Introducing Little Mix onto the stage to perform their hit single 'Woman Like Me', Jack said, "Girls bands tend to crash and burn quicker than Prince Phillip on a country drive."

The moment he FUELLED Little Mix's feud with Piers Morgan

After sitting down for a chat with the Little Mix girls, Jack was quick to bring up their well-documented feud with Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan.

He said, "Voluptuous breasts and four chins - it must have been like looking in the mirror for him," much to the band's shock.

When he mocked the Producer of the Year Award

Before revealing the winner as Calvin Harris, Jack mocked the Producer of the Year award, admitting it is usually given out during the ad breaks.

He said, "An award we usually present in the ad breaks, but this year the winner is famous!"

The time he mocked Shawn Mendes' baby face

After Drake was crowned the winner of the International Male Solo Artist award, Jack was less than impressed that the rapper had failed to show up...

He said, "Don't give it to Drake, he never shows up! Give it to Shawn Mendes! He bunked off school for this."

His inevitable Brexit joke...

It was always going to happen, and when Jack landed his anticipated Brexit joke, it certainly didn't disappoint!

He said, "As you all know, Britain is a outward-looking country that loves the rest of the world. Well, not Europe, but the rest of it."

Oh Jack! 🙈🙈🙈
